Completely useless and missleading. Dont waste your time with that app
Completely useless and missleading. Dont waste your time with that app
The GUI is nice, and the application itself is fairly accurate (or so it seems; Ive yet to test it against experimental data). Either way, its surely worth a download.
I like it a lot but there are several bugs like the fact that it says that a marine can not take out an overlord and small bugs like that but still a great app for free
What possible reason could you have for not rating this well? Thanks for this tool, developer
You get what you pay for in this, all this does is waste your time and attempt to get you to download the paid version (which is not worth paying for). It allows you to mathematically pit 4 base units vs 4 base units. If you have common sense you can use your brain to do what this app does, better.
Waste of my time and money u scamers give me my money back i cant even stimulate things without having to wait 30 minutes fix this now
The new update helped Sooooo mich but I noticed something about the Zerg Melee and missle attacks. When I upgrade the muddle attacks for the hydrelisk nothing happens but if I upgrade Melee then the upgrade works. Pls fix this and check for other issues like this thx!!!
Whenever I simulate a lot of units the app crashes after like....2 minutes of simulating.
The stats are great to have on my iPod and the sim works well for 1:X ratios. Which is expected as larger ratios would require more info such as positioning. Only complaint is upgrades not working
Does the trick
What about the other five years of updates we havent seen anything of? What about LOTV, or even HOTS? The new units, costs, and abilities? It seems really useful, that is, if you were playing SC2 five years ago.
This app is awesome, i love unit comparisons. However, Blizzard published some updates, in this app units have the stats of the oldest version of the game.
Could be better
Units combat is well described but the reason to hav MedEvacs, Warp Prisms and Observers is a mistery given that they do NOTHING. No healing, no detection, just spending resources. Also the damage system is part of the Wings of Liberty edition which is rahter outdated.
Aside from parts where you can only use 4 of the same unit and have a 650 resource cap in the Free version, the most youll get of this app is a bunch of words on your screen. Even if you pay for the full app its still highly broken and has major issues such as Ghosts not detecting Dark Templar. Its not the greatest app but I dont think it was worth the time to download. If you downloaded thinking you would get 2 AIs killing each other for your viewing pleasure, prepare to be disappointed!
Really helpful tool... Thx! Cant wait for the full version!!!!
Very nice little tool, easy to use and quick.
The app doesnt take things like splash damage into account. This has been tested, as best as I can tell, only for 1 on 1 matches. A more sophisticates engine that simulated units in 2 dimensions (for calculations, not visually, of course) would be much better. Even the horribly limited army features will be grossly inaccurate most of the time. A simple and important test, like seeing how well a queen could fend off a banshee, is broken because the simulator doesnt know queens have anti air. Id love an app like this, but it needs a lot of work and a totally redone engine.
There is a custom game map "unit test map" where you can factor in, spells, splash, and common upgrades. Sure this is a lot more time spent loading up Starcraft and searching for the map. But it is 100% accurate.
I dont see much future for the app as it needs a complete overhaul from the ground up. Not only is it inaccurate 99% of the time its fairly cumbersome and doesnt really offer much.
